As I started my search into the higher end of horology - JLC has been my first choice since I read a review of the Extreme Lab 2 a number of years back on a flight home. The short list of my final search to a purchase consisted of the MC line (and extreme), GO Senator Observer, IWC portuguese and a couple Grande Date Zeniths.
Today I took a surprise trip to Philly and was able to look at a few things at Tourneau. I have been worried the MC line would prove too small for me with just over an 8" wrist. Everything I saw that was 40mm-42mm looked tiny as expected...which is why I always discounted the Reverso from my online search. Then i saw it...the Squadra Titanium World Time. I needed it until the salesman told me it was 19k. That seemed odd and still does now that I have checked prices online.
So, now I am in search for one and for Reverso info in general - I think specifically the Squadra. Hoping you all can help me out with a few questions to get me jump started:
-Are all Squadras the same case size? The sales guy told me they are but I am not sure that is correct
-Any place I can go to see all of the Squadras that were made?
-Are any of the non-squadras the same size as the squadra?
-Anyone have a Squadra that can give me pros or cons? Specifically any reason that this should not be at the top of my list?
-Any comparison of the Titanium vs Steel version? Is the material of the case the only difference? Can I still get the black.rubberized bracelet with the steel for a few bux less?
-Do you have one for sale? b-)
I will do my own research but hoping you all can give me a few quick answers to get me moving in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!

It seems 90% or more of size related questions are 'is it too big' (TWSS) but what about those of us that are worried about it being too small? :-d
I have posted in other threads that I was finally able to make a trip out of town to a Tourneau - where I realized just how small a 40mm or even 42mm looks in the metal - but (to my surprise) I loved everything about the Squarda World Chrono. I never realized their size and great blend of sport and dress until I saw it sitting in the case. I was told by the sales rep that all Squardas are the same size - which I now know if wrong.
I want the black steel/rubberized bracelet but actually prefer the movement view on the 'other side' vs the world time. The non-world chronos are also quite a bit cheaper. I have just over 8" wrist and am curious how either the bigger or smaller case fit a wrist near this size.
Based on the dimensions of the World Chrono vs the Hometime, Chrono GMT - there is nearly a 10% difference in size! Thats 40mm vs 44mm in a round case. Seems crazy to me but I guess that's how math works. Does anyone have any comparison pics, or experience with them both that can tell me if this difference is, in reality, nearly nothing or a big difference?
Thanks!

Im going to get a Reverso. I already have a master ultra thin date with silver dial (only wear it with suits). I am torn between the blue dialed tribute and the classic small seconds in medium (with brown leather strap). I love the dial of the blue tribute. I worry though that it may not be very versatile. Has anyone put a different colored strap on this model? Can it be dressed down for casual wear? I am looking for a Reverso that I can dress up or down, one that looks good with shorts and a polo as well as a suit. Opinions welcome.

I have been looking for a nice 36mm 114270 Explorer to complete my three watch collection (currently own TT1931 Reverso and 60th Anniversary Speedmaster). I have been late on some deals and missed out, but prices also seem to be going up.
So I have been thinking about going in another direction and finding a nice Geophysic 1958 LE. However, I want a stainless bracelet on this watch and wonder if the bracelet for the Geophysic True Second will fit. Does anyone know for sure, and better yet, actually done it and has pics they could post? Thanks.

Well I just picked up this puppy. Took a chance that it might be a little too small-but I think I will keep it.
Very nice watch indeed.
Smaller than I am accustomed to, but then its dressier..
(The sticker is from the seller-have yet to take it off)

I am considering buying a Squadra with Black rubberized/steel bracelet but it is sized for 7.25" and I need about 8" for my wrist. None of the ADs in my area respond and offer to sell them to me. I realize I am not spending 20k with them, but how about a bit of customer service and maybe in the future I will come back to them for a larger purchase? Since the links will be shipped anyway, anyone have someone in their area that can help a customer out?
Thanks in advance!

Hey guys,
I was just wondering what the lug width is on the 39mm MUT Reserve de Marche. I think the MUT Moon is 21mm, but didn't want to make any assumptions. For some reason, I can't find it anywhere. Thanks much! Trying to get some new strap mojo going.

I was curious if there is anyone out there that bought this watch and contemplated witching out the rubber strap. the lighter tan strap for the polaris might look nice but since the Memovox is think I was not sure if it would look right or fit right.
Also, for the love of.. Why on earth did they make the interior rotating bezel without some sort of stopper. It did not have to be a screw down crown, but at least a click stop so when wearing it, the bezel should not randomly rotate. Drives me nuts.

I have a question about the JLC Ultra Thin 145.8.79. This is the 34mm case.
I know the lug width is 17mm. Does anyone know the buckle width?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all.
Does anyone know if JLC have ever offered a Master Ultra Thin Small Second (40mm) with black (or dark grey) dial?
If not, any speculation as to why not? Do they think it wouldn't sell?
Something like this:
But with a dial colour something like this:

Hi all,
Got this superb Mater Control 140.8.89 model and I was intending to send it to JLC for service/maintenance at some point in the next few months..
However I thought I would ask the experts here if there's anything that really stands out in terms of the watch being authentic or not, please see images below:
(**I've removed the case/movement serials with the clone tool**)
Thanks!

I picked up this vintage LeCoultre a few years back. The dial has three vertical sections. Tapestry on each side and matte in the center.
The case back is inscribed Milton G. Hulme. Google the name, pretty interesting person.
