Hello all. Is this a good deal or not? There is an JLC ATMOS clock for sale at an estate sale for today's price of $1,995. I saw a sales brochure that this clock is $3000 new. I am hoping it can go down to $1k tomorrow, but is $1k or even this $2k even worth it? You can get the same one on ebay for $1200-1800. Thanks!

Does this Jaeger strap fit my Jaeger watch?
Hi,
I'd like to change the black croco strap of my JlC watch (pic below). I saw this black croco strap online. The issue is that the strap pins are different. On the new strap, you can see a small hole with small clip to put/remove the strap. Does it matter? Should I buy it or not?
Thanks for sharing your views. Much appreciated.

Real or fake?
Hey, guys. Just found this watch at home, don't know if it's real or not. The only thing I found about this watch on internet was an auction that said that it's a replica but pretty expensive one. Current bid was around ?200, but clock face was white, otherwise everything was the same. Also I find it suspicious that seconds arrow is missing. So, thanks for help in advance!

Yet another newbie question
Hello all. I'm new to this particular forum but not WUS. I'm on the hunt for a watch for my wife and yes, I know this is a fool's errand, but putting that aside, I've become fascinated with the Reverso Gran Sport Duetto Night & Day (296.8.74) and while I've managed to find it on Chrono24, eBay, and the like, I can't seem to find any mention of it here. Does anyone have any experience with this watch?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor Worldtime Thoughts
I have a chance to pick one of these up at a pretty good deal and was looking for a travel watch. I don't really have the need for the cities in each time zone but it doesn't bother me. Has anyone had one of these and what did you like, or didn't like? I like larger watches so size is not a problem. They seem to run about $7K to $8K used which seems like a lot of depreciation. Also are straps hard to get for JLC's as I have an 8 1'4 inch wrist and usually need a larger strap or bracelet. Thanks in advance.

My first Jaeger_LeCoultre watch...and it's my wifes!
So I purchased the Reverso Gran' Sport Dame (aka Lady) on the pre-owned circuit and I am now on the hunt for an extra link. While I wait for my AD to get a response back from Dallas, does anyone know of where these can be purchased? I've been scouring the web but to no avail. Also, does anyone know of a downloadable copy of the owner's manual?

Availability dates of sector dial master controls?
I'm too scared to ask my AD, or drop by, when the sector dials will be in stores.
Anyone happen to know when they'll be in?
Save me from myself.
Thanks!

family reunion
the squadra FINALLY returned from JLC service (6 mos!!) to rejoin the rest of its family.
more and more I'm having a greater appreciation for this brand.
having recently gotten the more traditional size reversos, I've been more attentive to 'smaller' watches.
however, considering going in a different direction. lately I've been a bit obsessed with an AP RO 15400.
unfortunately, the squadra may have to leave the family in order to make room :-(

Considering Purchase of MC Memovox
I'm looking to purchase my first JLC and the MC Memovox made from 2002-08 looks like the best option. Any owners have opinions on the watch and performance of the movement?

JLC Reverso with CF Calf Strap
Didn't see any Reverso owners go for a calf strap so I'd thought I'd share my experience purchasing from Camille Fournet.
I was looking for something less flashy than the crocodile strap so opted to purchase a calf strap direct from CF.
The total time to receive the strap was a little over a month.
Order placed: Feb 4
Strap delivered: Mar 6
Got the most basic strap so it was under $200 after currency conversion.
So far the fit is very comfortable and the finish is as expected (excellent). There aren't too many 19mm/16mm options out there.
I did not end up using the CF buckle and instead swapped with the original JLC deployant
I'd definitely recommend the calf if you're looking to dress down your Reverso especially since they are the OEM for JLC. |>

JLC Geophysics 1958 OR Geophysics True Second
Hi guys.. I am creating a new thread on this topic.
As some might noticed, I have put up a thread comparing watches and I am still in doubt (poor wallet since budget kept increasing). FYI I have changed my mind from trying to get:
1. IWC portofino automatic with milanese bracelet
2. IWC portofino chronograph with milanese bracelet
3. JLC MC with bracelet
4. ?
And NOW I am changing my mind to either
JLC geophysics 1958 ( I think I can still get brand new one available somewhere) or JLC Geophysics true Second (Geo TS) with bracelet (supply should be easy with this one)
The original requirements still holds:
1. I want versatile enuf, elegant daily watch which I can dress up / down
2. It needs to be stainless bracelet (still undecided depending on the watch i guess, my main concern is my wallet wont be happy paying 500 leather band every few years lol)
3. honestly I like non cluttered dial (hence the so far the options has been "boring" / "dull" to some people here hehehe)
4. date / no date = does not matter as long as it looks good
5. It is gonna be my first lux watch and gonna wear it daily. I dont wear suit to work, but the usual smarts + short/long sleeve shirt (no jeans)
6. I am not gonna wear it to swimming / sports, so its gonna be casual stuff, work stuff at the office, so it should be "safe" enuf from unwanted exposure.
7. I am 38 y o
8. I am trying to buy "prestigious" brand and try to be unique, elegant. hence staying away from OMEGA, ROLEX etc.
Unfortunately the JLC 1958 does not come with bracelet, although I found some articles that the bracelet from true second fits (but AD sent email to me that it doesnt fit). So I do not know for sure.. maybe someone here have experience on this thing?
I have seen the geo TS in person and tried it, but I hesitated due to the quartz like second movement.. but then again, my taste so far has been simple stealthy kinda watch, I dont need people to acknowledge my watch as long as I am happy, I think I am secure enough in that sense (otherwise I would get a Rolex ahahha)
Not many people would appreciate JLC (since they arent watch nerds like us), let alone the quartz movement on geo TS. I am talking about indonesia/singapore (asian countries) where ROLEX is THE brand here for most people....
So anyway, Can you anyone who have experience on either or both watch give comments on why should I OR why shouldnt I get either watch?
What about quality of TS since it is relatively brand new thing from JLC.
thnx everyone, hope you can help an undecided fellow here. I have got another month to make up my mind :)

Bumper movement LeCoultre
Purchased a LeCoultre vintage bumper movement. My electric winder (which works well with newer automatics) will not keep it wound. Is this a function of wind direction on the winder, or does the bumper just not respond to an electric winder?
Thanks in advance for helping a newbie.

Any info on this JLC would be appreciated - Just purchased - Amateur here
Hi everyone... wanted to see if anyone had any information on my new vintage JLC... here's what I have so far:
This particular model shares the same case number as the GALAXY MYSTERY DIAL Lecoultre watch. It's from the 50s... very unique dial from what I gather.. haven't seen one like this on some simple searches.

Reverso Duo Tribute vs Classic Duoface Small Second - Caliber 854A/2
I was hoping someone could help answer a question for me. The Duo Tribute with Caliber 854A/2 has the hidden slider on the top of the case to advance the hour hand for local time. The Large and Medium Classic Duoface Small Second used the same caliber. Does it also have the slider on the top of the case?
Any help would be great appreciated. I know the duoface small second was just released, so this info seems very hard to come by.

New to JLC, thinking of the Master Compressor Geographic
Hi folks,
I'm new JLC and I really like the Master Compressor Geographic. I honestly don't like buying used and never have. I also have no experience with JLC. However, I found this listing on Chrono24 and the pawn shop is located near me so I can actually go check it out.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Geographic Q1718470 for $6,200 for sale from a Seller on Chrono24
I'd appreciate if someone could give me any pointers on this watch in particular. Any red flags in the picture? Pawn shop to me is a red flag, I'd rather buy from the owner who knows everything about the watch. It looks clean to me apart from a small scratch on the bezel. The price is also good and its negotiable. If I buy it in person I'm sure they'd go lower which would give me some spare cash for a service. I'd also want to get a rubber strap for it, can I still order them from JLC? Thanks.
Edit: Just noticed the case no isn't filled in the paperwork. Is that normal? Thanks.

Dualmatic Authenticity check
Hi there
I came across this watch for sale on one of the insta accounts I was following. Doing my homework I can say it checks all the wrong and shady boxes but, still I need to have a solid opinion.
Was there ever a JLC Dualmatic like this ( I never came across one in real life or on internet)? The seller has no background information on the watch, no model reference etc.
Thank you

Reverso choice input
I'm thinking of adding the Reverso to the collection. Current collection holds a 3570.50, 14060m.
Before I make the Q3788570 as the next piece to chase, is there another reverso model that I am missing out on? I require seconds hand, no numbers as markers and duoface would be nice.
