Hi guys, I’m new here and I hope you guys can help me as I’m really torn between the 2 watches.

For the JLC MUT Perpetual, I like the slimnest and the face. Although there a part of me that like the fact it is boutique exclusive, a part of me find it a little gimmicky. The one other thing I disklike about the watch is the movement. It is an automatic, and I personally prefer a manual winding watch.

For the JLC M8D Perpetual, I like the slightly sportier look and the 8 Days Power Reserve manual winding movement. It is just amazing. But I do wish for the watch is slightly thinner. Standing at 12.84mm compared to 9.2mm which is the thickness of the MUT Perpetual, it is 3.64mm thicker despite being a manual winding watch, which are traditionally thinner than the automatic counterpart. I like the blue moon in the moon phase compared to the yellow moon on the MUT Perpetual, but I do think the MUT moon phase format is prettier.

I hope you you are able to see my dilemma here. One more thing to add is the being boutique exclusive, the MUT Perpetual comes with not discounts. Strictly RSP. The M8D Perpetual on the other hand although having a higher RSP, is over USD$2,000 cheaper than the MUT Perpetual after discount from my regular dealer.

So I am sincerely hoping to get some insights or POVs that I may have overlooked to help me decide better. Thank you all in advance.
