I posted a post four months ago about the month and date hands on my ultra-thin Perpetual not aligning with the dots. Dial Problem for JLC Master Perpetual Ultra Thin
It was such a nightmare because the JLC New York Boutique kept saying it was normal. You guys gave me wonderful suggestions from that post, which encouraged me to fight for the issue.
Finally, I could not take the bullshit anymore and emailed JLC CEO directly. His secretary replied after 10 days and asked me to send the watch back to Switzerland for a fix. On the email, he apologized and said that a watch-master looked at my pictures and thought that it may be the end-shake problem (i do not know what is end-shake. i just wanted it to be fixed!).
Now I got an email back claiming that the watch is fixed in Grande Maison and showed me some pictures of the watch. Do you guys think it is a good fix? I noticed that the hand is not pointing exactly to the middle of the dot, but slightly to the left on January. Is this acceptable for a mechanical watch? Thanks a lot! Below are the pictures.
