My wife purchased this watch for me as an engagement present over 2 years ago now and I love it, it is my favorite piece.
I have been having one really annoying issue with it ever since i got it. I have never had this issue with a watch before and I have a pretty big collection of leather strapped watches with deployment clasps.
Today was the second time in just over two years the watch declasped and the pin popped out as i got out of the car and my watch fell face first onto the concrete. The first time it happened was a year ago and I thought it may be just a rare occurrence as i had never had this issue before with any other watch. When it happened today, I added another dent and scratch to the case.
I have never had such a ...... clasp on an expensive watch before. Anyone else have this issue with their JLC? Did I get a rare poorly finished clasp? Or is this standard. Now, I have two dents in the beautiful case and grooves around the face. I could live with the first dent and scratch, but this second one has pushed me over the edge.
