Sorry if this has been posted before, could not find any past reference...
Regarding the Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso 270.2.36, in the sub-dial at 6 there are four numbers that appear to be painted on the dial, respectively "17 16 15 14"... What do these numbers signify?
They do not seem to "move" or do anything, like I said, these seem to be painted on -- but why paint them in the first, why paint them there, and why these four numbers in particular and not "42 25 98 11"?
I just picked four random numbers with two digits... Or maybe there should have been a descending sequence there, like "42 41 40 39"...
Nobody discusses these numbers anywhere this watch is figured, but they jump at you and seem to have no business being there!!
