Hi all
Im hoping to pull the trigger real soon on my dream Chronograph- JLCs sector dial chrono. Imo its an absolute honey of a watch and one which I feel JLC have nailed....for the most part.
Ive just about accepted no running seconds on the dial, but I feel the JLC designers missed an obvious aesthetic trick by leaving the bottom part of the chrono hand so long that it covers the word automatique!!!
Would it really have looked odd if the bottom wedge shaped part of the chrono hand was shortened, so its base rested on top of the word automatique? I wonder if the JLC designers modeled this in some way using programs such as Photoshop or Illustrator before launching into production.
Im sure I can live with such a first world problem once Ive acquired the piece but it does provide a little source of irritation- any owners feel this also?
