A shop is selling an older model Lady Reverso (supposedly 260.81.10) without box or papers.
My problem is, Reverso in quartz and manual-wind look pretty much the same on the outside. They don't put "automatic" on the dial like most other manufacturers. Moreover, Reverso casebacks are notoriously hard to open, so I can't just ask the sales clerk to pop open the hood for me so I can peer at the movement. To make things more complicated, the caseback engraving has been polished such that the ref. no. is barely visible.
Does anyone have tips on how I can tell if this watch is a manual wind?
Thanks for any advice.
