Hello,
I have had my eye out for a 855 Memovox K825 for some time now. It's medium sized by todays standards, has a nice history, still reasonable in price imho, and they look fantastic. Seems like a perfect dress watch. This one is offered for sale buy a specialist watch shop. Could anybody verify if this looks original? Although I could find some images of similar baton/block hands, the pointed/dauphine style seem to be much more common. But I have never came across that hour-glass logo on the center dial. Is this JLC original?
Thank you for your comments.
For a 1960's watch the dial looks very clean to me. I'm not a huge fan of heavy patina/yellow dials, so this seems to be like a nice one. There does seem to be some damage on the datewheel (left of the 24). I have asked how the other dates look.
