Somewhere I read that the Powermatic was the first watch featuring a power reserve indicator, ever.
That reason alone should positively impact the prices for this watches... not to mention the JLC asociation printed on the dial (I do know LeCoultre isn't exaclty JLC...)
However, they tend to be relatively cheaper when compared with similarly aged Reversos or such (the iconic (?) wathces of JLC)...
A friend of mine has this watch in the solid 14k version and in a more than acceptable condition... how much should I pay for it? Is 1350 too high?
I mean, after googling I see there are a lot of variants and a lot of prices...
