Hi All,
I've been trying to find the 'right' JLC to add to my collection for a while. I've looked at the Reserve du Marche mostly -- but got enamored of the new 2018 sector dial models -- particularly the chrono and the geographic.
But then, just as I'm about to settle, I got a line on a geophysic 1958 -- and I'm thinking of doing that instead. It's more versatile for sure, although there's nothing you can't do with a sector dial watch -- it's sporty and dressy like the geophysic. It's got a cooler pedigree -- and a limited 500 run. Don't know if the movement's a big upgrade -- and I suppose the prices on them are about the same.
Any way -- what are your thoughts? style? Value? collectability? I'd love to hear from other JLC know-it-all and enthusiasts.
Thanks!!
