I know that some dont consider this a JLC however I just thought I would share in the hope of getting some more info.
This came to me in around 1977 from my Grandad. He bought it in 1964/5 from a small army and navy store in Glasgow.
Its got a 470 movement which keeps great time considering its never been serviced. It is missing the internal shield, not sure why. This is the 56 version with 36mm SS case by an English maker I believe. If anyone knows who that would be interesting.
Any info would be appreciated. Im sure the Air Ministry had lots made however I have only ever seen one other on the net identical. thx
