Movement & Time Setting Question

Hello - I just bought a brand new JLC MUT Moon, and after giving it a few turns to get the second hand running, I pulled up the crown to set the actual time and noticed that if I moved the minute hand counterclockwise, it caused some "give" in the second hand, and caused the second hand to move backwards noticeably too (this reset back to normal when I moved the minute hand forward). After winding the watch a bit more, the issue seems to go away and now the second hand does not move.

Also, I noticed if I pull the crown out after not having done it for a few minutes, the minute hand jumps back slightly too (though not every time I pull back the crown). Is this all normal or is something wrong with my new watch?
