To keep it short and sweet: I had my barely 6-month old Memovox sent in for service in Singapore because it was taking a lot more handwinding than normal to get it going from standstill. Thankfully they covered the service under warranty, but after I got it back, guess what I noticed?
They somehow managed to put it back together with the two crowns reversed! For those who aren't familiar, this is obvious because the crown that sets the date has a big D and an arrow in it pointing which way to turn.
Extremely annoyed, especially if the watch has to go away for another few months to have the crowns switched back. Just thankful that it isn't something worse, but surely one shouldn't have to feel that way when sending a nice watch for service.
