So, I just picked up 1960s JLC Master Mariner with a refinished dial. There are a few discrepancies/mistakes that aren't exactly glaring, but I'm considering having it redone at Kirk Rich Dial. Attached are some photos of my new watch and a similar model with the original dial. You can see the "M" letters in the Master Mariner script are a little off; the "M" in AUTOMATIC is the wrong font; and the painted indices are incorrect (the sub second markers should be flush to the outside track. My question is, do you think it's worth doing another redial and what are the chances that there will always be some errors no matter what? I appreciate your thoughts on this -- so thanks in advance!
