JLC Minute and Seconds Hands out of Sync

Hi--

Just purchased a new JLC Master Control Date in Stainless and noticed that the seconds and minute hands are out of sync. The seconds hand passes twelve when the minute hand is halfway in-between the minutes: as opposed to the seconds hand being on the twelve when the minute hand is on the minute mark.
Is this normal and am I expecting too much out the the watch or should I call the dealer?
