Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum and also a new owner of a JLC watch. Master Control Dual Time, Q1628130.

I've been looking for a few weeks, comparing Omega Seamaster AT 150m Chronograph GMT, and this watch. When I finally went to the AD to handle both watches, the Omega and the JLC, I was blown away by the superior elegance of the JLC. No contest. Photographs do not do it the justice. Jaeger LeCoultre Master Control Dual Time has a sole, it exerts a comforting feeling. A sense of confidence or something, I can't exactly wrap my words around it. It's really a matter of how it makes me feel, overall.

It's very easy to tell time in both time zones at a glance. The watch has this uncomplicated beauty about it, yet it catches people's attention. It's very satisfying to avoid blatant in your face bling, yet know you have a watch made with passion. It’s not loud like some widely known brands, yet commands respect in a subtle way. Speaking of made with passion rather than profits in mind, how many watch companies truly make everything in house? Five brands come to mind: Jaeger LeCoultre, Patek Philippe, Omega, Seiko and Rolex. Did I miss anyone? I am talking full vertical integration from making their own tooling to making their own ceramic bearings and on.

Quick question if I may, please. Would you recommend to keep it on a winder of let it run out and wind it as needed. I intend to use it a few days out of the week, not every day.

Good to be here, I’ve been reading some of the posts here when researching watches and found this forum very helpful. Calm and insightful for all things for a watch aficionado.
