Reverso issue

Hi all,
I got a new 2438520 (Reverso Classic medium small seconds - mechanical wind) about a year and a half ago. I was wearing it as a daily driver up until the covid outbreak, and had no issues with it up to that point. Since I've been home, I've been wearing a diver watch and have kept the Reverso on a stand, winding pretty much daily to keep it going. There have been two instances when the watch has stopped (I THINK due to running to the end of its power reserve but I could be wrong), and when I attempted to wind the watch, there was no movement. I wound up until the crown locked, as usual. Both instances this has happened, when I attempted to move the case out of the carriage (i.e., initiating the process of flipping over the case), the watch suddenly began to start again, indicating the jolt seemed to have some effect. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Is this remotely normal behavior? The watch does not otherwise appear to be running fast or slow.
