Help Identifying my grandmother's watch

Hi everyone - I was hoping someone might have some knowledge of JLC vintage timepieces. I don't know any of the history, so any input would be appreciated. I was hoping the marks on the clasp may shed some light on it. That wouldn't be the serial number would it?

Watch still winds and runs fine. It keeps good time from what I can tell. I would most definitely wear it, but it is too small to fit around my wrist. Thanks!
