Squadra Hometime My Thoughts...

To many the Squadra line doesn't get much love, but the Hometime has become my favorite watch. If you will indulge here are some of my thoughts.
1. It really does not wear too big. I have 7.25" wrist and it wears comfortably(with 1 link removed) and does not look over sized, imo. Also the micro adjustments in the steel strap are very useful.
2. The display back though contrary to the initial intent of the Reverso line speaks to the reality that we have many ways of checking the time, and the choice to wear a mechanical watch is because of passion for the beauty, complexity and intrigue of the movements. Also being a reverso there is an argument that it is the most justifiable display back possible because it can be shown with out taking off the watch.
3. It has one of the most elegant and useful dual time systems out there. The fact that the hometime hand can be discretely hidden behind the current time is sublime and the AM/PM indicator is how most people think of time and makes it's use effortless. I think only Patek has a similar dual time complication (I could be wrong).
4. It's Automatic and tough as nails.
5. the subtle guilloche dial, the intricate perlage revealed when flipping, and the deco horizontal lines through out are all understated and beautiful.
6. I think it can fit in on some level with a the luxury steel sports watch space with integrated bracelet that have been popular since the 70s, clearly with a different style.
7. I also find it to be versatile enough to wear with anything from jeans to a suit, only stopping short of a tux.

Agree, disagree what are your thoughts.
