Considering the 20+ year old Jaeger-LeCoultre 140.8.87 Master Calendar.

What should I ask the seller, and what in particular might be the issues precluding me from pulling the trigger on this model? I imagine it being an older watch with no history of service, and the cost could be significant when sent to their service center.
